AMAZING EXPERIMENTS TO DO AT HOME
Magnets are very useful tools you can use around the home and also perfect subjects for simple science experiments. Besides, kids love magnet experiments as they are super simple and really fun!
Let’s start from a simple experiment that will help you to make ferrofluid at home using 2 simple ingredients. To make this incredible experiment you will need oil and printer ink. In a bowl, mix printer ink with a small amount of vegetable oil and stir. Take a magnet and hold it close to the liquid and watch how the liquid is attracted to it.
For the next experiment, you will need a glass, a magnet, thread, a needle and a lighter. Place the magnet on the glass, thread a needle. Get the needle close to the magnet and bring the flame close to the needle or needles. Watch the result!
Take some matches and place a magnet near them. No reaction? Burn matches and try again. Burnt matches stick to a magnet.
Place three glasses in a row and fill the first one with water, the second one with vegetable oil and the third one with syrup. Place several paper clips in each glass. Place a piece of glass over the glasses and take a magnet and place over each glass. Check out how differently paper clips move.
In addition, you will find cool water and other experiments in our video. You will love the next colorful experiment: take a tray of round shape and pour some milk on it to fully cover the surface. Next, add several drops of food coloring. For example, you can choose blue, green, red and pink. In the center of the tray add a big drop of any color and put the cotton ball dipped in dish soap on it. Enjoy the magic!
