U.S. Air Force members from the 340th EARS preform aerial refueling to USAF F-15 Strike Eagles from the 336th Fighter Squadron from Seymore Johnson Air Base and A-10 Thunderbolt II from the 23rd Fighter Group from Pope AFB over Iraq on October 6, 2017. The A-10s GAU-8/A is 5-ft 11 ½- inch ammunition drum can hold up to 1,350 rounds of 30 mm ammunition.
