U.S. Air Force joint tactical air control party Airmen, from the 320th Special Tactics Squadron and the Air National Guard 116th Air Support Operations Squadron, work alongside their Royal Thai Air Force counterparts from the special operations regiment during exercise Cobra Gold 2020 at Lop Buri, Kingdom of Thailand, Feb. 27, 2020. Both U.S. and Thai members took turns calling in demonstrative air strikes from A-10 Thunderbolt II aircraft, with the 25th Fighter Squadron out of Osan AB, Republic of Korea. Cobra Gold 20, in its 39th iteration, is designed to advance regional security and ensure effective responses to regional crises by bringing together a robust multinational force addressing shared goals and security commitments in the Indo-Pacific.
