A U.S. Air Force B-52 Stratofortress, assigned to the 2nd Bomb Wing, and an F-15E Strike Eagle, assigned to the 389th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron, receive fuel from a KC-135R Stratotanker, assigned to the 50th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron, during a multi-day bomber task force mission over Southwest Asia, Dec. 10th, 2020. The short-notice, non-stop mission was designed to underscore the U.S. Military's commitment to its regional partners, while also validating the ability to rapidly deploy combat power anywhere in the world.
