(May 2, 2020) The U.S. Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron, the Blue Angels, and U.S. Air Demonstration Squadron, the Thunderbirds, honored frontline COVID-19 first responders and essential workers with formation flights over Baltimore and Atlanta on May 2, 2020. Cockpit footage from Lt. Cmdr. Cary Rickoff, Blue Angels Opposing Solo. The U.S. Navy Blue Angels were refueled by Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst KC-10 Extenders while conducting flyovers as part of the America Strong campaign over Baltimore, Washington DC and Atlanta, May 2, 2020.
