DCL Grand Prix Brussels

On Saturday, September 23rd, the third race of the Drone Champions League of the 2017 race calendar took place on the historical square "Mont Des Arts". The DCL was part of the Drone e-show and was the highlight of the event. Several thousand spectators watched the spectacle live. The spectacular scenery of the "Mont des Arts" offered a truly unique racing experience for the DCL pilots.

Brussels Drone e-Show
The Drone Champions League was proud participant of this year's Drone e-Show. For the spectators the droning race was the highlight of the event. The race track showed his best side especially at night, as the Mont des Arts could be gazed from afar by the beautiful lighting of the track.

Switzerland vs. Great Britain
The grand final was decided between the two teams FPVRacing.CH (Switzerland) and NEXXBlades Racing (UK). The team from Great Britain was able to decide the race with the first 4 single heats. In the Big-Heat the Swiss got a point, which led to a final score of 4: 1 for NEXXBlades Racing. Team Gemfan was able to secure third place on the podium.

Close-up racing experience
With the largest LED wall of Europe, spectators could watch breathtaking live footage of the First Person View drone. The sensational weather provided a cozy atmosphere among the spectators. At Meet & Greets, the fans were able to share close-up experiences with the pilots.

DCL Race calendar 2017
After the tour stop in the Belgian capital of Brussels, we will return to the famous salt caves of Salina Turda in Romania (14th to 15th of October). The big final will be in Berlin (3rd of December).
