Three MV-22B Ospreys and one KC130J Super Hercules landed for the first time in Romania, May 26 at Mihail Kogalniceanu Air Base. The Marines joined the Romanians as part of an integration exercise which utilized air assets launched from Morón Air Base, Spain. The aircraft integrated with Marines from the Black Sea Rotational Force during Platinum Eagle 15, where they work with their Allies from the Bulgarian and Romanian armed forces.
